Safety

Why Daggs can't touch your funds, and the checks it runs.

Daggs is built so that it never has the power to move your funds. This page explains how, what Daggs checks for you, and what's still up to you.

Non-custodial by design

  • Your keys never leave your wallet. Daggs prepares unsigned transactions; your wallet shows them and you sign. Daggs has no way to sign on your behalf.
  • No deposits. Tokens go from your wallet straight to the provider's contract or deposit address in the transaction you sign, and out to the recipient. They never pass through a Daggs wallet.
  • No account. There's nothing to sign up for and no password to leak. Your wallet is your identity, and the swap page sets no tracking cookies.
  • Nothing to withdraw. Daggs holds no balance for you, so there's nothing that could be frozen or lost on our side.

What Daggs checks for you

Exact-amount approvals

On EVM chains Daggs reads your current allowance and only asks for an approval when it's too low, for the amount of this trade. It never asks for unlimited approvals, so a provider contract can't spend more of that token later.

Minimum received, checked again at signing

When you click to sign, the transaction is built from a fresh quote with your real addresses. If that quote would pay less than the minimum you reviewed, Daggs stops and nothing is sent.

Slippage protection on chain

The transaction itself carries the minimum you accept. If the market moves past your max slippage before it executes, it reverts instead of filling at a worse price.

Solana simulation

Solana transactions built by Daggs are simulated against the live chain before your wallet sees them. If the simulation fails (for example, not enough SOL for fees) you get an error, not a failed transaction.

Recipient validation

The recipient must be a valid address for the destination chain (EVM, Solana or Bitcoin), or the trade isn't built.

Server-side fees and keys

Provider API keys and fee settings live on the Daggs server. Requests are passed through with an allow-list of fields, so a page or script can't change who gets paid.

Read what you sign

Your wallet is the last line of defense. Before you confirm:

  • The site in the wallet prompt is daggs.xyz. Bookmark it; scammers copy sites and buy lookalike domains.
  • An approval names the token and an amount that matches your trade, not "unlimited".
  • The tokens and amounts match what you reviewed, and the recipient is the address you expect.
  • Your wallet's own simulation, if it has one, shows the tokens you expect to send and receive.

Daggs will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and never DMs you first. Anyone who does is a scammer. Support is only at support@daggs.xyz and @daggsxyz.

Risks Daggs can't remove

Non-custodial doesn't mean risk-free. Be aware of:

  • Provider risk. The swap or bridge is carried out by a third party (LI.FI and the bridges it uses, Relay, NEAR Intents, Mayan, Jupiter, Titan). A bug or outage on their side can delay or lose a transfer. Daggs only routes to established providers, but can't guarantee them.
  • Smart contract risk. Any on-chain contract can have bugs, however well audited.
  • Market risk. Prices move. Slippage protection limits it, and a trade can still revert or fill near your minimum.
  • Finality. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed by Daggs or anyone else. A wrong address means lost tokens.
  • Token risk. Anyone can create a token with any name. Check the contract address of tokens you don't know.

Privacy

Daggs sees the trade details and public addresses needed to quote and build a route, and passes them to the providers. Your connected wallets, recent tokens and recent transfers are kept in your browser. Completed trades appear on the public Transactions list, which shows only what's already on chain. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
